Bloodborne Pathogens

This course covers all of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards. It also takes an in-depth look at the different kinds of pathogens, bloodborne pathogen transmission, exposure and control plans, and what do when an exposure occurs. This course is offered either as a blended course, or a fully in-person course.

Child and Babysitter Safety

This course is the perfect starting point for a pre-teen or teenager looking to expand their knowledge and start babysitting others. In this course, we look at how to prepare to babysit, the importance of safety and emergency preparedness, handwashing and hygiene, food preparation, diapers and bathroom habits, managing challenging behaviors, and naps and bedtime. Most importantly, we also cover what to do when things go wrong, how to recognize the problems, what actions to take, how to get help, and what to do until help arrives. This is a 5 hour course designed to include some lecture and hands-on skills practice.

Advanced Bleeding Control

This course contains an in-depth look at the physiology of bleeding, severe external bleeding, commercial bleeding control devices and techniques, shock and control, Proper safety considerations and preparation, and more. This course is currently being offered as a blended option for individuals or groups, or in-person for groups.
